Pack Tactics โ€“ Launch Day Devlog & Hotfix Update ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ‰

Hey everyone!

Itโ€™s Launch Day!!
After months of design, testing, tweaking, and more than a few late nights, Pack Tactics is finally out in the wild! We couldn't be more excited (and a little nervous!) to see how you all play, break, and strategize with your animal allies. Thank you so much to everyone who's supported us along the way — your feedback and enthusiasm have been our compass.

Now, letโ€™s talk about the first hotfix, which just went live:

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Hotfix 1.0.1 โ€“ Clarifying the Hunt + Turtle Rework

๐Ÿ” Hunt Ability Text Added
Weโ€™ve added a proper description to the Hunt ability, which now reads:
โ€œRemove one from your den and gain its threat and courage.โ€
This should make the ability much clearer during play — no more guessing whatโ€™s going to happen when an animal goes hunting. Thanks to everyone who reported the confusion!

๐Ÿข Turtle Rework + New Egg Mechanic
Weโ€™ve redesigned how Turtle works to make reptiles a bit more exciting to build around. Instead of its old ability (which buffed the courage of animals), Turtle now lays eggs, which hatch into a random scaled animal. That means you might hatch an alligator, a newt, or even another turtle. ๐ŸŠ๐ŸฆŽ

This change should breathe new life into reptile synergy, making it easier to amass a cold blooded horde.

Weโ€™ll be keeping a close eye on balance and bugs over the next few days as players dig into the meta, and weโ€™re excited to see what weird and wonderful builds you all come up with.
